China UK Development Limited (CUDL) is inviting native English speakers to teach English in China. This programme aims to improve Chinese students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In addition, teachers will be expected to develop students’ confidence and interest in their studies.

At present, we are looking to recruit English teachers for placements in Hunan, China, beginning September 2017. This promises to be a comprehensive international teaching experience, where teachers will have the opportunity to live in a country with an extensive history and fascinating culture. Positions availableEnglish teachers predominantly in middle- and high-schools, with a few placements in kindergartens, elementary schools, colleges, and universities.
Key Responsibilities

Detailed planning and execution of lessons;

Consistent evaluation of students’ progress and provisions of ongoing guidance for improvement;

Participation in social activities (alongside students) organised by the school to encourage oral English proficiency.


Available to commence work in China in August 2017;

Native English speaker; or Native-like English speaker;

Possess at least a Bachelor degree (Preference will be given to candidates with TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate or at least 2 years of working experience);

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the ability to complete administration tasks accurately;

Comfortable with employing innovative teaching approaches and ideas;

Contract Period10 months (9 Month teaching + 1 month summer holiday).
Workload18-20 teaching periods per week, with 45-50 mins of teaching encompassing a period.
Salary6,000 – 8,000 RMB per month (The average salary in Hunan for 2016 is 4,363 RMB per month).
LocationHunan Province, including the cities of Changsha, Changde, Yiyang, Yueyang, Xiangtan, Huaihua, Shaoyang, Hengyang, Loudi, and Chenzhou. Placements will vary between cities, towns, and rural areas.
